This is the second consecutive year the school has received this recognition, and the school is one of just two schools throughout the state to be recognized for two years in a row.

Hen Hud is also the only high school in the state receiving the title that offers all three PLTW programs: computer science, biomedical science and engineering.

As a whole, PLTW programs help students develop their knowledge of STEM fields and form in-demand skills that they will use for the rest of their lives.

“Hendrick Hudson High School is a model for what school should look like and should be very proud that it is ensuring students have the knowledge and skills to be career ready and successful on any career path they choose,” said Vince Bertram, President and CEO of PLTW.
